Are you interested in making your child care program more breastfeeding friendly? Then check out the Building Blocks of Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care monthly webinar series provided through the Orange County Partnership for Young Children. Take one or all! Sessions will all be held from 1-2 PM:
- February 9 (1-2pm) Creating or Revising a Child Care Breastfeeding Policy
- March 9th (1-2pm) Breastfeeding and the whole center
- April 13th (1-2pm) Breastfeeding in the Classroom (Environment)
- May 11th (1-2pm) Breastfeeding in the Classroom (Curriculum)
- June 8th (1-2pm) Feeding Infants/Toddlers (bottles, weaning, solids)
- July 13th (1-2pm) Communicating with families about Breastfeeding
- August 10th (1-2pm) Creating a Lactation space
- September 14th (1-2pm) Applying for Breastfeeding Friendly designation
- October 12th (1-2pm) Reviewing your center Breastfeeding policy
All registrants will receive a confirmation email with login information before the session. All webinars are free of charge. Each session offers 1.0 NCDCDEE Contact hour after completing a post-evaluation.
