This training is designed to educate and prepare early childhood professionals for an assessment resulting in progress toward providing high quality opportunities for children to develop and learn. Information on how to score the rating scale and opportunities to score various scenarios will be provided.
This training will be a discussion to define what quality care looks like in a preschool classroom. We will explore the ECERS-R as a tool to support best practices, connect it to the North Carolina Foundation for Early Learning and Development (NCFELD) and use the information to inform our practice in a real classroom.
Participants are asked to have a copy of the ECERS-R booklet at the training with them.
