The October Director’s Institute will kick off Farm to School and Early Care and Education Month by meeting at Ingram’s Family Farm. Farmer Rhonda Ingram will tell us about the field trips she offers for child care centers, schools and families; take us on a tractor ride to her pumpkin patch and send each of us home with a pumpkin of our own. We will also be highlighting the Partnership’s F2ECE activities for the month of October and brainstorming with you about our 2022 Farm to ECE Collaborative, currently in the planning stages. Boxed lunches will be provided and we will visit the farm’s Dessert Barn for a tasty, seasonal treat.
