During the first module we will briefly review The North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development framework. We will explore the relationships between the standards, the curriculum, and the formative assessment practices that teachers are expected to implement. Activities will demonstrate how preschool standards lay the foundation for what is expected in upper grades.
Participants will learn how to articulate to others about Foundations, how they are used, and their alignment with the NC Standard Course of Study.
