This community seminar is a follow-up to our “Resilience” documentary screenings and discussions on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES).
The presenters will focus on identifying children exposed to trauma, sharing strategies to use in the classroom, building relationships with families to create protective factors, and how to care for yourself when working with children exposed to trauma.
All participants will receive Barbara Sorrells’ book ‘Reaching and Teaching Children Exposed to Trauma’ and a relaxing Wellness Basket!
Light lunch provided.
The $10 registration fee includes 0.5 CEU (must attend all three breakout sessions).
