$Musical Moments: Using Music to Explore Math in Children's Literature @ First Church of God Dayschool$

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to tap into young children’s love of music and stories to spark meaningful exploration of math concepts. Participants will identify math opportunities in children’s books and stories, and create catchy songs and chants to enhance math learning. Participants will also explore the use of music as a classroom management and assessment tool.

Goal: To explore virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning strategies to create songs and math experiences with any early childhood lesson or story.
