Rocks can be turned into something magical with just a little paint, pictures, or stickers. Story stones and painted rocks are a great way to motivate storytelling, creative play, and conversations in the classroom and/or the outdoor learning environment . . . and they’re fun! You don’t have to be an artist for the DIY, Make & Take session. All you need is a little imagination and creativity.

*If you have a favorite storybook bring it along as a guide to make your set of story stones. Sample books will also be available to get you started.
