What is Family Jam?
Family Jam is a free community event where Randolph County families with young children can connect with local resources, enjoy fun activities, and spend an afternoon with their neighbors. More than 15 local organizations will be on-site, ready to help you find child care support, food assistance, health services, family programs, and more. No appointment needed. No registration required. Just come as you are.

New for 2026!
We are so excited to welcome the North Carolina Zoo to Family Jam this year! The Zoo will be joining us with an Animal Ambassador, bringing a live animal encounter right to downtown Asheboro. It is a wonderful opportunity for young children to connect with the natural world up close — and one more reason you won’t want to miss this free afternoon with your family.
