We are delighted to resume our OLE tours and highlight recent transformations during the last phase of Shape NC. Tour five local child care programs that have reimagined their Outdoor Learning Environment, enhanced outdoor physical activities and increased gardening opportunities: Connie Redding Head Start, Harmony Place, It’s a Kid’s World Pre-K/School-Age, and The Kids of Hope (these four sites participated in Shape NC Phase III), and or host site, Early Childhood Development Center (Shape NC Phase II). Discover creative opportunities of play and learning using S.T.R.E.A.M. ideas (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) during our Insect Investigation discovery activity.
Includes: Lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and an outdoor learning environment project work exhibit
