Every child in your care deserves an adult who is ready to help in an emergency.
CPR/FA is a program to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies, and to know how to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
This CPR and First Aid (CPR/FA) class is for early childhood educators and child care providers in Randolph County. You will learn how to spot and respond to heart, breathing, and first aid emergencies. You will also learn how to give basic care until medical help arrives.
Being trained in CPR and First Aid is one of the most important things you can do to keep children safe. It is also required for many child care licenses in North Carolina.
Cost: $60 per person. Please bring cash or check. An earlier session is also offered on August 17 — pick the date that works best for you.
Hosted by the Randolph Partnership for Children.
Facilitated by Dana Wright
