Early Educator Day
Connecting community leaders with the educators shaping Randolph County’s future
Early Educator Day invites community leaders, business partners, and advocates to spend time with early childhood educators—seeing firsthand how early learning environments support children, families, and the local workforce.
This experience builds understanding, appreciation, and stronger community support for the people who care for and educate young children every day.
The Randolph Partnership for Children coordinates Early Educator Day in collaboration with local early childhood programs and community partners. We work to ensure experiences are respectful, informative, and focused on strengthening early childhood education across Randolph County.

What Is Early Educator Day?
Early Educator Day is a community engagement experience that connects participants with local early childhood programs. Participants observe classrooms, learn about the early education workforce, and hear directly from educators about their work, challenges, and impact.
The day focuses on awareness, relationship-building, and shared responsibility for supporting early childhood education in Randolph County.
Why Early Educator Day Matters
Early educators play a critical role in children’s development and in supporting working families. Yet many community members never have the opportunity to see early learning environments in action.
Early Educator Day helps bridge that gap by:
Increasing understanding of early childhood education
Highlighting the skills and professionalism of early educators
Strengthening connections between educators and community leaders
Encouraging informed advocacy and partnership
When the community understands early education, children and families benefit.
Who Should Participate? What Do Participants Experience?
Early Educator Day welcomes participants who want to learn more about early childhood education and its impact on the community, including:
Business and workforce leaders
Elected officials and local government staff
Community partners and nonprofit leaders

Advocates for children and families
No prior experience in early education is required—just a willingness to listen, learn, and engage.
During Early Educator Day, participants may:
Visit an early childhood program or classroom

Talk with early educators about their work and training
Learn how early education supports families and the local economy
Experiences vary by site and are designed to respect classroom routines and children’s needs.
