Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep & Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (ITS/SIDS)
This is a 2-hour training that explains all the parts of North Carolina’s SIDS Law. Participants review when and how to use approved waivers, how to best place a baby in bed to sleep, and other best practice recommendations. Safe Sleep policy, updated research on SIDS, and local health and safety resources are shared. The training is provided by Randolph County Health Department and meets the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education requirements. ITS/SIDS is offered on a regular basis throughout the year. Calendars are sent to child care providers on a quarterly basis.

Eligibility
This training is for early educators of children 0-5 who work in licensed centers and homes in Randolph County. Registration is required.
Access
