Governor Josh Stein has proclaimed September Smart Start Month, continuing a statewide celebration of early childhood. And here in Randolph County, your Randolph Partnership for Children is marking the occasion the best way we know how: by bringing the community together and providing family resources.
Family Jam: Community in Action
On Tuesday, September 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 349 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro, we’re hosting Family Jam, a free afternoon event for families with young children. More than 15 local organizations will be there, side by side, ready to connect Randolph County families with the resources they need.
Child care help. Food assistance. Family support. Early learning programs. All in one place. All free. No appointment needed.
That’s what community looks like when it shows up for its children.
