Conscious Discipline Series — Session 7: Key Steps for Self-Regulation in Early Childhood

Session 7 of the Conscious Discipline Series continues our exploration of one of the most essential skills we can support in young children: self-regulation. In this session, we will dig deeper into the understanding that self-regulation in early childhood truly takes two — the child and the caring adult alongside them.

Participants will learn about the Naming, Claiming, and Taming framework for helping children understand and manage their feelings. This is an active, reflective session designed for early childhood educators and child care professionals in Randolph County who are ready to move from managing behavior to building connection.
