Safe sleep saves lives. This required training helps you protect the babies in your care.
This class covers North Carolina’s SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Law. It is required for providers who care for infants and toddlers. You will learn when waivers can be used, how to place a baby safely for sleep, and what the latest best practices say.
You will also leave with what you need to write a Safe Sleep Policy for your program. The class includes local health resources and a step-by-step guide for how to do an unresponsive infant drill.
The first years of a baby’s life are precious. Trained providers help make sure every baby in Randolph County gets a safe, healthy start.
This training is held online via Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link after you sign up.
